Residents noticed the change on Wednesday morning. UAE residents were in for a surprise on Wednesday as the name of their mobile network changed to ‘Labour Day’. The move is to mark International Labour Day across the country. Observed on May 1, Labour Day celebrates the working classes and laborers.
