Dubai motorists who don't commit any traffic offenses for 12 months, starting today, could get a 100 percent discount on all traffic fines. This is an initiative termed "Settle Your Traffic Fines” which came as a directive from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police said that the new initiative “Settle Your Traffic Fine” is part of the Year of Tolerance and also to increase the customer satisfaction and happiness levels in the UAE.
Motorists who don’t commit traffic offenses during a certain period are to get discounts ranging from 25% - 100%
1- Follow the rules for 3 months, get a 25% discount
2- Follow the rules for 6 months, get a 50% discount
3- Follow the rules for 9 months, get a 75% discount
4- Follow the rules for a year, get a 100% discount
