A motorbike taxi service has been launched by Dubai Taxi Corporation for the emirate’s delivery companies.

The DTC said the 600-strong fleet is for businesses that already has an online platform or smartphone app.

It stated that due to a surge in the industry, the fleet is anticipated to grow to 990 bikes by the end of the year, giving delivery services more possibilities.

The bikes have the newest safety measures, are tracked by gadgets, and are backed by a control centre that is open 24/7.

The service, according to the DTC, is intended to promote Dubai’s sustainable transportation industry.
