Drone delivery services in Dubai are expected to expand significantly after Sobha Realty signed a new agreement with Keeta Drone to introduce advanced air delivery solutions across residential communities.

The partnership aims to bring faster and smarter delivery services to residents by integrating drone technology into everyday urban living. Officials say the initiative represents another major step in Dubai’s push toward future-ready smart cities.

Dr Mao, President of Keeta Drone, said the collaboration is focused on supporting communities that value innovation, quality, and long-term development. He added that the project will help shape the future of urban living in the UAE, with plans to roll out services for residents from 2026 onwards.

Francis Alfred said the company’s operational model allows it to introduce advanced technologies with a strong focus on precision, safety, and sustainable growth.

According to Alfred, the agreement marks an important move toward creating self-sustained communities where innovation, sustainability, and convenience become a seamless part of residents’ daily lives.

The initiative has also received support from the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority. Director-General Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi said the authority welcomes responsible innovation in air delivery services, particularly within integrated communities such as Sobha Hartland.

Officials noted that the partnership could eventually expand beyond the UAE as both companies explore international opportunities in drone-based logistics and smart mobility.

The announcement follows another recent agreement involving Keeta Drone and Dubai Municipality, which plans to introduce drone delivery services across parks, beaches, and public spaces in Dubai.

Initial trial operations are expected to begin later this year at selected locations before a wider citywide rollout in the coming years.
