Leading production company Friday Film House has issued a public warning against fraudulent casting agents who are allegedly cheating aspiring actors out of large sums of money by misusing the company’s name.
According to the company, the scammers approach film aspirants with false promises of acting opportunities and demand money under various pretexts, including flight ticket bookings and casting commissions. Reports suggest that several candidates have already been duped, losing significant amounts in the process.
In a related update highlighted by Gold 101.3 FM, UAE’s No.1 radio station, the company confirmed that details of two individuals involved in the scam, along with their phone numbers, have been officially released to alert the public.
