The UAE is set to experience generally fair weather over the coming days, with temperatures soaring to as high as 47°C in inland areas and humidity levels increasing during the night, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

On Friday, skies are expected to remain mostly clear, although low clouds may develop over eastern regions. Humidity will gradually rise overnight and into Saturday morning, particularly along coastal areas, creating favourable conditions for fog or mist formation in some locations.

Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly winds will prevail across the country, occasionally freshening and causing blowing dust, especially in western areas. Wind speeds are expected to range between 10 and 25 km/h, with gusts reaching up to 40 km/h in exposed locations.

The forecast, highlighted by Gold 101.3 FM, UAE’s No.1 Radio Station, indicates that temperatures will remain high across much of the country. Coastal areas and islands are expected to record temperatures between 36°C and 42°C, while inland regions could see highs ranging from 43°C to 47°C. Mountain areas are forecast to experience comparatively milder temperatures between 32°C and 37°C.

Sea conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are expected to remain slight to moderate through Friday.

Looking ahead, Saturday is forecast to remain largely fair, with partly cloudy conditions possible over eastern areas. Humidity is expected to continue overnight into Sunday morning, bringing further chances of fog and mist along parts of the coast. Winds are likely to ease slightly, while sea conditions remain relatively calm.

Sunday is expected to bring little change, with fair skies dominating most parts of the UAE. Humidity levels will continue to build during the night, particularly in coastal areas, while light to moderate winds shift from southeasterly to northwesterly directions.

Conditions are forecast to become windier on Monday, especially over the sea. Winds could strengthen to around 40 km/h at times, causing the Arabian Gulf to become moderate to rough by evening. Despite the stronger winds, temperatures are expected to remain seasonally high.

A slight easing of temperatures is anticipated on Tuesday, offering some relief from the intense heat. However, fresh northwesterly winds may once again generate blowing dust in open areas, while sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf are expected to range from rough to moderate.

Residents are advised to take precautions during periods of high heat, remain hydrated and exercise caution in areas affected by reduced visibility due to dust, fog or mist.
