Following the blockbuster success of Mohiniyattam, the makers have unveiled the title of a big-budget film starring Saiju Kurup. The film has been titled ‘Harivarasanam’.
The movie is produced by Ajith Vinayaka Films, a banner known for delivering quality Malayalam cinema, with Vinayaka Ajith backing the project. After Salt Mango Tree and Thrissur Pooram, Rajesh Nair directs Harivarasanam, while the script is penned by Dr. Ambadi K.
Gold 101.3 FM, UAE’s No.1 Malayalam radio station, reports that the film is currently in its final stages of pre-production, with several prominent South Indian actors joining Saiju Kurup in the cast. A massive set recreating Sabarimala is being constructed at Chitranjali Studio in Thiruvananthapuram.
Music for the film is composed by Ranjin Raj, known for his work in Malikappuram. The shooting of Harivarasanam is scheduled to begin in Thiruvananthapuram this July.
