A day after his heated confrontation with paparazzi outside a Mumbai hospital went viral, Salman Khan appeared to reconcile with photographers during the success celebration event of Raja Shivaji on Wednesday.
The actor, who made a special cameo appearance in the film alongside actor-director Riteish Deshmukh, was greeted by photographers with repeated apologies over the previous night’s incident. As Salman arrived for photographs, paparazzi surrounding him apologised for the commotion that had occurred outside the hospital.
Noticing the situation, Salman reportedly asked his security personnel not to stop one of the photographers from approaching him and listened to what they were saying. After realising that the photographers were apologising, the actor acknowledged them and indicated that the misunderstanding had been resolved.
When the paparazzi apologised once again, Salman responded in a lighter mood, jokingly saying, “Say it louder, I can’t hear all of you properly,” drawing laughter from those present.

During the interaction, Salman also questioned why photographers had not circulated another video from the hospital incident that allegedly showed them running around in slippers during the chaotic moment. The photographers again admitted their mistake and apologised.
The actor later explained the emotional reason behind his anger at the hospital. Salman stated that someone close to him was going through a difficult time, saying that a person’s wife was seriously ill, which made the situation emotionally sensitive.
The reconciliation follows Tuesday night’s viral incident where Salman lost his temper after photographers followed him to a Mumbai hospital and shouted “Maatrubhumi,” the title of his upcoming film, while he was there.
Videos from the scene showed the actor visibly upset as he reacted strongly to the photographers, questioning how they would feel if one of their own family members was admitted to a hospital during such circumstances.
Later, Salman also addressed the controversy through Instagram, criticising sections of the media for what he described as insensitive behaviour. In his post, the actor expressed disappointment that photographers were “enjoying” his pain despite the support he had shown the media over the years.
On the professional front, Salman Khan will next be seen in Maatrubhumi alongside Chitrangda Singh. The release date of the film is yet to be officially announced.
