The much-anticipated film Patriot, starring Mammootty and Mohanlal, is set to make its OTT debut. The film will begin streaming from June 5 on ZEE5.
Reporting from Gold 101.3 FM, the No.1 Malayalam radio station in the UAE, Patriot marks the reunion of Mammootty and Mohanlal after 18 years. The film is an action thriller featuring a star-studded cast including Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, Nayanthara, Revathi, and Rajiv Menon in key roles.
The film also features Jinu Joseph, Danish Husain, Shaheen Siddique, Sanal Aman, Darshana Rajendran, Serene Shihab, and noted theatre artist and filmmaker Prakash Belawadi, known for films like Madras Cafe and Pathaan.
Directed by Mahesh Narayanan after his acclaimed works Take Off and Malik, Patriot is crafted as an international-standard spy thriller with a grand technical scale and cinematic canvas. The film’s screenplay and editing are also handled by Mahesh Narayanan himself.
Produced by Anto Joseph and K.G. Anil Kumar under the banners of Anto Joseph Film Company and Kichappu Films, the film is co-produced by C.R. Salim and Subhash George Manuel under CR Salim Productions and Blue Tigers London. C.V. Sarathi and Rajesh Krishna serve as the executive producers.
