The UAE is expected to experience largely fair to partly cloudy weather through Friday, with hot daytime temperatures, humid nights, patchy fog in some coastal areas and fresh north-westerly winds that could raise blowing dust, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
On Monday, skies will remain fair to partly cloudy, while convective clouds are expected to develop over the eastern regions during the afternoon. Humidity levels will increase overnight and into Tuesday morning, creating favourable conditions for fog or mist formation over parts of the coast.
Daytime temperatures are expected to remain high, with inland areas recording up to 46°C, while coastal regions could see highs of around 41°C.
As Gold 101.3FM, UAE’s No.1 radio station, reports, light to moderate south-westerly to north-westerly winds of 10 to 25 km/h are expected across the country. Winds will strengthen to 35 km/h on Monday and up to 40 km/h on Tuesday, especially over western areas, leading to blowing dust and reduced visibility in some locations.
Marine conditions are also expected to change during the week. The Arabian Gulf will see slight to moderate seas, becoming rough at times in western waters on Tuesday before gradually easing later in the week. Meanwhile, the Oman Sea is forecast to remain slight throughout the forecast period.
The NCM has also forecast the development of low clouds along the UAE’s east coast from Tuesday through Friday, while residents are advised to stay updated with official weather forecasts, particularly if travelling through areas affected by fog, dust or rough sea conditions.
