Residents across the GCC can expect a mix of weather conditions this weekend, ranging from rain and cooler temperatures in the UAE to intense heat, dust and rough seas in other Gulf countries.
In the UAE, fair to partly cloudy skies are forecast, with a chance of convective clouds bringing showers to eastern and southern regions. Temperatures inland are expected to range between 43°C and 47°C, while winds of up to 40 km/h may raise dust, particularly in western areas. Conditions are expected to become slightly cooler from Friday, with increased humidity, mist and fog possible during the early morning hours through the weekend.

Saudi Arabia is entering the peak of its summer season, with temperatures exceeding 44°C in parts of the Eastern Province and central regions. Oman is forecast to see cloudy conditions, drizzle and isolated rainfall in Dhofar, while thunderstorms, strong winds and occasional hail are possible over the Al Hajar Mountains.
Meanwhile, Qatar will remain hot to very hot, with blowing dust, strong north-westerly winds and rough sea conditions expected through the weekend. Kuwait is also set for extreme heat, with temperatures forecast to climb from 46°C on Friday to 48°C by Sunday. Dusty conditions and increased humidity along coastal areas are expected to persist into early next week.
