It’s now easier to reach Old Dubai’s popular attractions by Abra
Two new transport lines have just been added to the Dubai Abra routes…
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) have added two new of marine transport lines along Dubai Creek, making it easier to reach some of Old Dubai’s key attractions by abra.
Now you can travel from Al Sabkha across to Al Fahidi and back via abra, where you have the option to explore Al Fahidi Museum, Textile and Spice Souqs and Baniyas Square.
The second line will take you from Al Sabkha to Al Ghubaiba Stations and back. Here you will find metro, bus and marine stations to continue your journey as well as several more museums.
RTA have also increased the number of abras running throughout the day, and adjusted the frequency of rides to improve the waiting time for customers. The new changes aim to offer a better and more convenient service to those visiting and travelling around Dubai Creek.
