The upcoming movie “Adipurush,” which stars Prabhas in the title role and offers a novel interpretation of the famous epic Ramayana, is expected to have a successful opening weekend at the box office. According to predictions, the film could earn more over Rs 80 crore on its first day of release, evoking analogies to the pre-release anticipation for Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathaan.”
This Friday, the big-budget, multilingual movie, which reportedly cost Rs 500 crore, will be released in 3D everywhere.
The advance booking for the Om Raut-directed movie began on Sunday, and according to theater owners, the interest has exceeded their expectations.
Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, Devdatta Nage, and Kriti Sanon are also featured in “Adipurush.”
