Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is reportedly set to marry his longtime partner Gauri Spratt in a private ceremony on July 5, according to sources cited by NDTV.

The actor, who introduced Gauri to the media during his 60th birthday celebrations earlier this year, has previously spoken about their relationship and had indicated his intention to marry her. The reported ceremony is expected to be an intimate affair attended by close family members and friends.

Gauri Spratt, who is reportedly associated with Aamir Khan’s production house, also has a seven-year-old child from a previous relationship. During his birthday media interaction, Aamir publicly acknowledged their relationship for the first time and confirmed that she is currently working with his company.

Reports suggest that the upcoming wedding would mark Aamir Khan’s third marriage.

Gauri Spratt comes from a multicultural background rooted in Bengaluru. Her mother, Rita Spratt, runs the Spratt Hair Studio, while her father, Robert Spratt, is of Tamil-British descent. Her maternal lineage includes Punjabi-Irish roots, reflecting a diverse family heritage.

She is also the granddaughter of Philip Spratt, a British-born communist who came to India in the 1920s and later became associated with the country’s freedom movement.

On the professional front, Gauri pursued studies in styling and photography at the University of the Arts London in 2004 before building her career in the salon and fashion industry. She later joined Aamir Khan Productions, where she has been working in recent years.

Aamir Khan was earlier married to Reena Dutta, his childhood sweetheart, on April 18, 1986. The couple separated in 2002 after 16 years of marriage and have two children together — Junaid Khan and Ira Khan. Reena also worked briefly as a producer on the Oscar-nominated film Lagaan.

He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao on December 28, 2005. The two met during the making of Lagaan, where she worked as an assistant director. They have a son, Azad Rao Khan, born in 2011. After nearly 15 years of marriage, the couple announced their separation in July 2021, stating they would continue co-parenting and collaborating professionally.

Despite their separation, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao have maintained a close professional and personal rapport, continuing to work together on various projects.

Before Gauri Spratt was publicly introduced, reports had suggested that Aamir Khan was dating someone outside the film industry. He later confirmed the relationship, bringing it into the public spotlight and sparking widespread media attention.
