The teaser of upcoming fantasy entertainer ‘Don’t Trouble the Trouble’, starring Fahadh Faasil and backed by Baahubali producers Arka Media Works, has received mixed reactions online, with viewers divided over its quirky concept and fantasy-driven storyline.

The nearly two-minute teaser introduces Fahadh as Soori, a magician who shares a mysterious bond with a young girl. Packed with fantasy elements, humour and visually striking scenes, the teaser offers only glimpses of the plot while keeping the main story under wraps.

Gold 101.3FM, UAE’s No.1 radio station, reports that while some viewers appreciated the film’s unusual setting and Fahadh’s rare venture into the fantasy genre, others felt the visuals and theme appeared outdated, with comparisons being drawn to Mohanlal’s fantasy film Barroz. At the same time, several fans expressed hope that the movie could emerge as a surprise entertainer like Aavesham.

Produced by S.S. Karthikeya, Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Showing Business in association with Arka Media Works, the film marks another collaboration for the team behind the successful distribution of Premalu.

Directed by debutant Shashank Yeleti, Don’t Trouble the Trouble blends fantasy, comedy and emotional storytelling, with Fahadh playing the central character Soori. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on September 11.
