In an extraordinary security measure aimed at preventing any potential leaks, examiners preparing question papers for the upcoming NEET retest have been placed under strict “lockdown” at secure, undisclosed locations.

Translators tasked with converting the question papers into regional languages have also been shifted to separate confidential facilities as part of the enhanced security protocol.

As Gold 101.3 FM, UAE’s No.1 Radio Station understands, those involved in the process will remain completely isolated from outside contact until the examination concludes on June 21.

According to Central Government sources, individuals inside these secure centres are strictly prohibited from using mobile phones, laptops and smartwatches. Internet access, where permitted, is tightly controlled and subject to continuous monitoring under stringent protocols.

Officials said the unprecedented arrangement has been introduced to safeguard the integrity of the examination following recent concerns related to paper security and to ensure a leak-proof testing process.

Entry to these high-security facilities is restricted only to personnel with special clearance, with all movement closely regulated.

In a further step to strengthen security and logistics, the government is also planning to deploy Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft for the secure transport and distribution of question papers to various states across the country.

Authorities maintain that these combined measures are aimed at ensuring the smooth and fair conduct of the NEET retest without any compromise to confidentiality or examination integrity.
