Following the global success of the blockbuster thriller Karuppu, Tamil cinema star Suriya has been widely appreciated for his gesture of gifting brand-new Mahindra BE 6 electric luxury SUVs to key members of the film’s technical team.

As reported on Gold 101.3 FM, UAE’s No.1 Radio Station, music composer Sai Abhyankkar, editor Kalaivanan, and cinematographer G.K. Vishnu were each presented with the electric SUVs, valued at around ₹30 lakh each, as a token of appreciation for their contribution to the film’s success.

The gesture comes in celebration of Karuppu’s strong global box office performance, with the film reportedly crossing the ₹300 crore milestone worldwide, marking a major commercial achievement in Tamil cinema.

Directed by RJ Balaji and featuring Trisha Krishnan in a lead role, the film also stars Natarajan Subramaniam, Indrans and Yogi Babu in key roles. While the star cast has drawn attention, the technical team’s contribution has been widely credited for the film’s overall impact, particularly Sai Abhyankkar’s soundtrack, which has gained significant popularity among audiences.
