After the massive success of Marco, which was widely noted as one of the most violent films in Malayalam cinema, the much-awaited film Kattalan is gearing up for release. Produced by Shareef Muhammed under the banner of Cubes Entertainments and directed by Paul George, the film stars Antony Varghese (Pepe), Dushara Vijayan, Sunil, and Kabir Singh in lead roles.
Reporting from Gold 101.3 FM, the No.1 Malayalam radio station in the UAE, ticket bookings for Kattalan have officially opened and are witnessing an excellent response, with strong advance bookings pouring in within a short span of time. The film is all set for its worldwide release on May 28, while the UAE release is scheduled for June 23.
Kattalan has also secured the top spot on IMDb’s list of the most anticipated films of the year, reflecting the massive buzz surrounding the project.
The trailer hints at a gripping narrative centered around the dark and dangerous world of illegal ivory smuggling, promising intense action, raw violence, and visually striking sequences. Audiences can expect never-seen-before action moments combined with fast-paced storytelling and powerful visuals. The film’s music, composed by Ravi Basrur, is already being highlighted as a major attraction.
