The Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) is facing growing internal turmoil as allegations, counter-allegations and leadership concerns continue to surface within the organisation. Senior actor Maala Parvathy criticised the lack of communication and administrative coordination in AMMA, saying members are not being properly informed about meetings or key decisions.

The controversy intensified after former joint secretary Ansiba Hassan accused actor Tiny Tom of falsely linking her to religious conversions . Actor Neena Kurup has also reportedly raised complaints against Tiny Tom before the executive committee.

Meanwhile, vice president Lakshmipriya alleged internal “ganging up” within the organisation and claimed AMMA president Shwetha Menon was not being properly informed about internal matters. Former general secretary Edavela Babu too pointed to communication gaps within the organisation.

With leadership under pressure and internal divisions becoming public, AMMA is facing mounting criticism and one of its most turbulent phases in recent times.
