Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster “Dhurandhar” is set for its theatrical release in Japan on July 10, marking its first cinema run in the Asian country. The release expands the film’s international journey after its massive success in India.

The film features Ranveer Singh as Hamza Ali Mazari, later revealed to be Jaskirat Singh Rangi, an undercover operative working within Pakistan’s criminal underworld. The ensemble cast also includes Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R. Madhavan.

“Dhurandhar” was India’s highest-grossing film of 2025, earning $105.25 million (₹9.5 billion), and went on to become the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time, surpassing Stree 2, which collected $77.33 million in 2024, Reporting from Gold 101.3 FM – UAE’s No.1 Malayalam Radio Station.

Directed, written, and produced by Aditya Dhar, the film was jointly backed by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar.

Its sequel, “Dhurandhar: The Revenge”, released in March, continues its theatrical run and recently ranked No. 4 in its second weekend across 987 screens, with a total gross of $22.9 million.
