The 49th Kerala Film Critics Awards, one of the state’s most prestigious film honours, celebrated the finest talents in Malayalam cinema this Wednesday. Among the top winners were Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Anaswara Rajan, marking a proud moment for the industry.

The awards were decided by a jury after carefully reviewing more than 60 films. The announcement was made by association president and jury chairman George Onakoor, along with general secretary Thekkinkad Joseph.
The top honour for Best Film of 2025 was awarded to ‘Eko’, directed by Dinjith Ayyathan. Meanwhile, filmmaker Dominic Arun won Best Director for his work in ‘Lokah: Chapter 1 Chandra’.
