The RTA announced that motorists in UAE, as well as GCC countries, can now pay their parking fare directly through SMS without registering for the service.
This initiative will benefit millions of UAE drivers.
It also makes sure that drivers are alerted through SMS, in case they opt for paid parking on a public holiday.
If they do however pay for parking fare on a public holiday, the fare is carried forward to the next day.
