Kerala Blasters FC have strengthened their attacking options ahead of the new Indian Super League season, signing Malayali forward Mohammed Sanan K from Jamshedpur FC and Indian attacker Ramhlunchhunga, popularly known as Chunga Hmar, from SC Delhi.
Sanan, 22, returns to his home state on a long-term deal after establishing himself in the ISL with Jamshedpur. The Blasters have handed him a three-year contract that runs until the end of the 2028-29 season, the club announced on Monday.
A product of Kerala’s footballing system, Sanan came through the Reliance Foundation Young Champs programme before making his senior debut for Jamshedpur in 2023. He quickly became a regular in the league, making 20 appearances during the 2023-24 season and another 24 in 2024-25.
Primarily a left winger, Sanan can also operate on the right flank or in a central attacking role. His pace, ability to carry the ball and willingness to take on defenders have made him an important part of Jamshedpur’s attacking options.

The Blasters have also added Ramhlunchhunga, better known as Chunga Hmar, from SC Delhi. The 25-year-old Mizo attacker has signed a contract with the club until the end of the 2027-28 season.
Chunga Hmar began his professional career with Aizawl FC in 2020 before moving to Hyderabad FC. He spent the 2022-23 season on loan at Sreenidi Deccan, where he scored two goals and registered six assists in 22 league appearances.
He subsequently returned to Hyderabad FC and made his ISL debut during the 2023-24 season. Known for his pace and versatility, Hmar can operate in multiple attacking positions and gives Kerala Blasters another option in the forward line.
With the arrivals of Sanan and Hmar, the Blasters have added two young Indian attacking players with ISL experience, while Sanan’s move also marks a homecoming for a player who began his football journey in Kerala.
