Motorists in Dubai and Sharjah are facing heavy traffic and delays on Thursday morning, July 16, with several major routes affected during the peak commute, according to live traffic updates.
In Dubai, slow-moving traffic has been reported along Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) and connecting roads near Al Garhoud, Al Qusais and Deira. Congestion is also affecting areas around Dubai International Airport, Madina Mall and Ras Al Khor. A slowdown has been reported near the interchange connecting Al Ain Road (E44) towards Dubai Design District and Nad Al Sheba, with traffic building up near the roundabout.

In Sharjah, motorists on Emirates Road (E311) and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road are experiencing significant delays, especially around Industrial Area 6 and University City.
