Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, extended Eid Al Adha greetings to the Rulers of the Emirates, citizens, residents and Muslims around the world, conveying wishes of peace, stability and prosperity on the occasion of the festival.

In his Eid message, Sheikh Mohamed said he congratulated his brothers, the Rulers of the Emirates, everyone who calls the UAE home and Muslims globally on the blessed occasion of Eid Al Adha. He also prayed for continued blessings upon the nation and for peace, stability and prosperity across the world.

Earlier in the day, Sheikh Mohamed performed Eid Al Adha prayers at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi alongside senior members of the UAE leadership, royal family members, officials and worshippers.

Joining the UAE President for the Eid prayers were Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.

Also present were several senior members of the Al Nahyan family and UAE leadership, including Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Khaled bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan.

The Eid prayers were attended by a large gathering of worshippers, reflecting the spirit of unity, compassion and togetherness associated with Eid Al Adha celebrations across the UAE.
