Abu Dhabi: The General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat has announced that the timing of the Friday sermon and prayer across the UAE will change starting Friday, January 2, 2026.
Under the revised schedule, the Friday sermon and prayer will begin at 12:45pm. The authority urged worshippers to arrive early to ensure they do not miss the sermon, noting the importance of attending on time to receive the full reward.
The update aims to standardise Friday prayer timings nationwide, ensuring better organisation and consistency for all worshippers.
