At its “First Look” event at the Wynn Las Vegas, Samsung officially pivoted from viewing AI as a luxury feature to establishing it as a foundational “companion” for daily life. Under the theme “Your Companion to AI Living,” CEO TM Roh introduced an ecosystem where devices are no longer passive tools but proactive partners that anticipate user needs across three pillars: Entertainment, Home, and Care. The centerpiece of this vision is the Vision AI Companion (VAC), a cross-platform software intelligence integrated into the 2026 TV lineup—including the world’s first 130-inch Micro RGB TV. This platform blends multiple large language models, such as Google Gemini and Perplexity, to enable natural, conversational interactions. Whether it’s the massive Micro RGB or the new Freestyle+ portable projector, these screens can now understand on-screen context, allowing users to ask complex questions about what they are watching or receive personalized recommendations that extend far beyond simple streaming.

Beyond entertainment, Samsung is embedding this “companion” philosophy into the very fabric of the home to eliminate daily friction through “Agentic AI.” In the kitchen, the Bespoke AI Refrigerator now features an upgraded vision system built with Google Gemini, which tracks inventory in real-time to suggest recipes and provide automated food management. In the laundry room, the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo uses multiple sensors to detect fabric types and soil levels automatically, while the Bespoke AI AirDresser returns with “Auto Wrinkle Care” to simplify morning routines. This vision of a “connected life” is further supported by the Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra, powered by a Qualcomm processor, which can distinguish between solid obstacles and liquid spills. Ultimately, Samsung aims to shift household technology from reactive treatment to proactive care, using its entire device ecosystem to monitor wellness and offer personalized health coaching for sleep, nutrition, and even early dementia detection.
