Starting January 9, the RTA is launching four new bus routes—88A, 88B, 93A, and 93B—to help people travel more easily during busy rush hours between Al Satwa, Jumeirah, and Al Wasl. Other popular lines are also growing; for example, Route 13A will now go to Al Muhaisnah 2 and Route 55 will extend to International City. Even the Metro feeder buses, like F55 and F39, are getting longer routes to reach more neighborhoods.
Along with these new paths, the RTA is fixing and upgrading over 70 existing bus lines to make them faster and more reliable. Some big changes include Route 29 now stopping at the Museum of the Future and the bus stop at Max Metro Station moving to Al Jafiliya Bus Station. Because so many schedules are changing this Friday, it is a good idea to check the S’hail app to see if your usual bus has a new time or a different stop.
