Scattered rain will continue across parts of the UAE as the country heads into New Year’s Eve, bringing cooler temperatures, strong winds, and rough sea conditions, according to the National Centre of Meteorology. North-westerly winds of up to 40 km/h are causing dusty conditions and reduced visibility in some areas, while sea waves may reach up to seven feet. Humidity is expected to rise overnight, increasing the chance of fog or mist by Thursday morning. Conditions are forecast to gradually improve from Thursday, with lighter winds and calmer seas, though residents are advised to remain cautious, especially near coastal areas.
