Dubai is gearing up for a massive New Year’s Eve celebration, with over 2.7 million passengers expected to use public transport. The RTA has announced a full mobility plan to manage crowds around the Burj Khalifa.
Transport & Parking Highlights
- Free shuttle buses will operate between parking areas and the event zone.
- Taxi pick-up points: Al Wasl Club and Al Kifaf.
- Public buses will connect to nearby metro stations.
- Free buses for non-attendees will run from Swissôtel Al Murooj to Al Wasl Club and Al Kifaf.

🚫 Parking is not allowed on Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Khail Road, Dubai–Al Ain Road, Oud Metha Road, and surrounding Downtown areas.
