And it’s catching up with the world’s busiest airport overall.
The Dubai International Airport is at the top of the world’s busiest airport for international travel for the fourth year running.
In 2017, around 88.2 million passengers have traveled through the airport up from 83.6 million the previous year, as per the annual traffic report issued by operator Dubai Airports.
London was at the top city with 4 million passengers, followed by Mumbai with 2.5 million passengers and Jeddah with 2.1 million passengers.
The CEO of Dubai Airports Paul Griffiths said the airport expects to see 90.3 million travelers in 2018.
