Checkout: First pictures of Dubai's Flying Taxis

Dubai Media Office tweeted a series of photos on the world’s first automated aerial taxis.

By the end of this year, Dubai will launch the flying taxis also called the ‘Automated Aerial Taxi’. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is collaborating with the German Volocopter, which specializes in manufacturing Aerial Vehicles.

But before the taxis start operating, the Dubai Media Office tweeted few photos of how the Aerial Taxis will change our views on traveling and the way we see our city’s skyline. The taxis will have a maximum airspeed of 100 kilometers per hour and will be equipped with 18 rotors and nine independent battery systems which can be charged within 40 minutes.
